Mr. Carl E. Sievers Jr. 74 of Keystone Heights

May 14, 1947 - February 13, 2022

Mr. Carl E. Sievers, Jr., age 74, of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Gainesville. He was born May 14, 1947, in Jacksonville to the late Carl E. and Doloras (Biddle) Sievers, Sr. Mr. Sievers retired as SMSGT (E-8) from the United States Air Force following 38 plus years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church, Melrose Masonic Lodge and the Keystone Heights Shrine Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, and all Gator sports, but most of all he loved being with his family. Mr. Sievers is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 55 years Dorothy (Mizell) Sievers of Keystone Heights and their two children Kevin Sievers (Barbara) of Live Oak and Cindy Roberts (Don) of Hampton along with a sister Debbie Sievers of Jacksonville. He was also lovingly called “Papa” by Ashley, Bailey, Regan, Cayleigh, Lilly, Dalton and Chase. Also left behind are five great grandchildren and one on the way. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 6-7 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Pastor Scott Stanland officiating.
