Mrs. Elaine Alma Robbert age 85 of Melrose

April 22, 1935 - October 8, 2020

Mrs. Elaine Alma Robbert 85 of Melrose passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Riverwood Health and Rehab in Starke. She was born April 22, 1935, in Paterson, New Jersey to Edward and Dorothy (Hearn) Rockford. Mrs. Robbert had been a resident of Melrose for the past 48 years in which several of those years were spent working in the banking industry in Starke and Melrose. She was also a member of and bookkeeper for Fresh Start Fellowship. Mrs. Robbert enjoyed quilting and loved plants and animals. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sons Michael Robbert and David Robbert along with her brother Bob Rockford and a sister Dorothy Robinson. Her survivors are her husband of 65 years Fred Robbert of Melrose; daughter Robin Roundtree (Greg) of Keystone Heights and a son Fred Robbert (Regina) of Melrose. She was lovingly called “GIGI” by Brad Robbert, Rebecka Gaines, Preston Roundtree, Damon Robbert, Tiffany Phillips and Sable Jade Robbert along with six great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Robbert will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
