Mr. Gerald Harding Herndon age 95 of Keystone Heights

Gerald Harding Herndon age 95 of Keystone Heights passed away in Gainesville, FL on May 5, 2022. Mr. Herndon was born in Madison, FL to the late Thomas Herndon and Amanda Riviere Browne on December 15, 1926. He moved to Keystone Heights from Jacksonville in 1992 upon his retirement from Anheuser-Busch. Gerald was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a world traveler and had the privilege of visiting every state. He enjoyed spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 70 years Betty Claire Herndon; son, Jerry Herndon, sisters, Juanita Barnhart, Muriel H. Greene, and Marilyn Fraddosio; Survivors include: brother, Aubrey (Patricia) Herndon; children, Ron (Julie) Herndon of Jacksonville, and Linda (Jim) Horne of Melrose. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
